Nephrology is the branch of medicine that deals with the study, diagnosis, and treatment of kidney diseases. A department of Nephrology typically offers a range of services to patients with kidney problems. Some of the good services provided by a Nephrology department may include:

  • Comprehensive diagnosis: Accurate diagnosis of kidney diseases using advanced tests and techniques.
  • Dialysis: Hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis services for patients with end-stage renal disease.
  • Kidney transplantation: Evaluation, surgery, and post-transplant care for kidney transplant patients.
  • Chronic kidney disease management: Personalized treatment plans for patients with CKD to slow disease progression.
  • Acute kidney injury treatment: Prompt and effective treatment for patients with sudden kidney injury.
  • Kidney stone treatment: Medical and surgical management of kidney stones.
  • Hypertension and electrolyte management: Treatment of high blood pressure and electrolyte imbalances related to kidney disease.

    HD machines(20-30 cycles/month)
  • 1997 - Two more HD machines
  • 1999 - Separate Nephrology ward created
  • 2006 - Paramedical certificate course of
    Diplomo in Diaysis Technology
  • 2015 - First Live Renal Transplant
  • 2018 - 13/500 New HD unit with HD machines
  • 2020 - 235, PMSSY HD unit with 10 HD machines 20 - Separate HD unit for Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C.

These services aim to provide high-quality care and improve outcomes for patients with kidney diseases.
