Department of radiodiagnosis provides the fundamental base for the diagnosis of patients.

This department works round-the-clock, taking care of all outpatients and all in-patients admitted in all broad specialities and superspeciality departments of our hospitals in both Thanjavur medical college hospital and Govt. Raja Mirasudar hospital campuses. Our college and department of Radiodiagnosis brings students in vital medical contact with patients who need all varieties of imaging modalities.

Here students gain sound knowledge of the various systems in use in the hospital for imaging diagnosis and image guided interventional procedures. This exposure is supplemented by theoretical sessions with the help of advanced teaching techniques and learning aids that are present in all lecture halls and demonstration halls with multi departmental discussions and integration for effective patient management and care..
